i have a file called configuration.properties but it seems that my program is not able to read it 'cause it says it gets a null for a value i know it's not null. the program must know the file exists 'cause it says anything about a file that doesn't exist though it doesn't read it.

could u help me please?

Usually you create property files in your source directory. But the program runs in the classes-directory. So that files must be copied before execution.
