How to configure tomcat to connect and access databases like MS Access ,MS SQL Server by using ODBC ?
If you can please give the related coding and the step by step procedure to configure?
ALso help to find other places(URLs) where I can get more help in this regard?

I don't think there is any configuration that allows you to directly connect to MS SQL Server through ODBC. Java interfaces through JDBC. So, you probably have to get a JDBC-ODBC JDBC Driver. (Of which there are many... a google search will find them.) However, there probabaly is an MS SQL Server type 4 JDBC driver out on the market (open source or commercial).


So, in the resources tags, you would just configure the JDBC Driver class or the JDBC-ODBC bridge driver in there as the class.


I haven't tried that, but my first guess is that is how it's done.
