Hi Gurus, I`ve got a really simple question but a can`t solve on my own.
On Windows, when an applicacion throws an Exception, for the first time, Tomcat freezes, until I hit the keyboard or I do something on the DOS console that appears when Tomcat start.
But it doesn`t happen on Linux!
I`ve told that Windows losses control on that new window, and it can`t print the stackTrace, or even a "System.out", until you do something to activate that window again.
Is there some way to solve this??

Thanks in advance.

Leonardo Lopez.

Well one obvious solution of course is to not use Windows! since it works fine under Linux...

Perhaps in the Windows version (what Windows? DOS/95/98/ME? or NT/2K/XP?), you inadvertently clicked in the Tomcat console window previously, so it (the console window) was frozen in "Select" mode (which should be apparent in the title bar)? If you don't click in the console window, it shouldn't get frozen? (I think this is only a problem in the DOS-based Windows's e.g. 95/98/ME?)
