We use Weblogics and J2EE. After I send a request via servlet, how can I interrupt a method call (a big session bean method call that calls many other object methods)?

I have an idea and not sure if it will work:

In the servlet, I would create a thread and call session bean method inside the thread. Then I add the thread to the user session. When an interrupt request comes to the servlet, the servlet will get the previous/named thread from session and send the 'interrupt' message.

Not sure if this would have any impact to anything

Or are there other recommendation?

Thanks in advance
