					I have over 2000 emails in my INBOX folder. When I tried
					

					to open INBOX folder it takes lot of time and the
					

					system idle process is 0 and the IMAP.exe file is
					

					occupying 100% process. How to solve this problem. I
					

					gone through all the sites but I couldn't find solution.
					

					

					

					

					Please give me a solution ..

well telnet to the IMAP folder manually on port 143
then login with you user name pwd ex.

1 login username pwd
1 select inbox
1 fetch 1:n body.peek[]



then thake this and dump it on another folder .
this wa you want ease up loading time or may remove messages as well.

Don't keep such a huge INBOX, and you shouldn't have a problem next time. I think you'd have a problem using any IMAP client, with a huge inbox.

dont get all 2000 messages in one click . try getting 10 messages . this will not load ur mail server
