I am trying to use internally supplied Ant in WebSphere Application Studio Ver5.

When I do Run Ant on a build file from IDE, it says:
Cannot use classic compiler, as it is not available A common solution is to set the environment variable JAVA_HOME to your jdk directory.

May I know where/how do I set this?

For Unix, depends on whether you use csh (setenv JAVA_HOME "/your/path/to/jdk"), or sh/bash/ksh (JAVA_HOME="/your/path/to/jdk; export JAVA_HOME").

For Windows, depends on whether you use 95/98/ME (add to autoexec.bat), or NT/2K/XP (My Computer, Properties, Advanced, Environment Variables, System, New).
