			i want to reterive all my messages in my inbox
			

			

				problem for me is iam getting only the new messages in the inbox.
				

				

				once i open the message i could not see that in my inbox again when i call the function.
				

				

				

				my main aim is to view all my read and unread messges in my inbox

Did they get deleted from the server inbox perhaps, at the end of the previous session? That is the default, in POP3 (and was that way before JavaMail, even before Java). If you want to leave mail on the server, you really want to use IMAP instead of POP.
