I would like to know what your using or how you search(do you use indexes) to return possible relevant subjects to me before I post this question? I've started a help desk project using the same idea. I would like to know how this site does it.

I don't know how this site does it, but the open source Jakarta Project Lucene seems to be a popular "text" search engine. It's well documented and is supported with forums on this site and others.


I'm looking at it for some projects I'm doing at home, also.
