I downloaded WTK2.0 from Sun's site.

The System.currentTimeMillis() method does not work rightly.

When I use "new Date(System.currentTimeMillis())", I always get a time 8 hours late.

Is it a bug?

i dont know whether it should be considered as a bug or not, but usually the WTK and even real phone KVMs returns the current milliseconds of the GMT when called.. so i guess you're 8 hours ahead of GMT :o)
