I used StandardAnalyzer. I would like to get three tokens from "hp8150dn-home-office". But only "office" is searchable. "hp8150dn" and "home" are not searchable, although "hp8150dn*" and "hp8150dn-home" are searchable. It looks like "hp8150dn-home" is considered as a single token.

Does anyone have any suggests about how to make "hp8150dn", "home" and "office" all searchable in Lucene?

thanks

You should look into other Analyzers (e.g. SimpleAnalyzer), into chaining Analyzers, and also into writing your own Analyzer (there is a FAQ entry with an example of an Analyzer).
