Hello, I am working for th 1st time on serial port in JAVA using JAVAX.COMM, but i am unable to access it .........plz help me in this regard... what should i do??

Can you give some more details?



Have you looked at the samples included in the comm api download?



http://java.sun.com/products/javacomm/index.html



Do you know enough about RS-232?

Search google for info



Are you using the right cable?

DTE to DCE
