I have 5 test cases in my junit test class. I had outofmemory error when I run the test. But if I comment one test case out, it run ok. Of cause, increaseing the JAVA heap size also helps.

I wonder if the root cause is:junit assigns each test case its own thread. So there are too many objects in the memory at the same time.

or else?

No, all test cases are run in the same thread.

But: for every test case method, a new instance of the test case class is created. 5 test cases shouldn't be a problem, though.

Can you show us the code of the test case class?
