Perhaps i could have answered my previous question by partial answering this. I realise that the CAP file does not contain symbols. Inferentially, if i m not mistaken, CAP files are some sort of 'downsizing' of JCA files. It merely contains brief descriptions of the .caps and Hex.

u may like to make a capdump of CAP file and open JCA as notepad to verify this.

notice that in the JCA files there are lines like

public final byte EPUTSE_CLA

These are for conversion to C, ASM and Java.

My guess is that CAP2JCA may not be feasible.
