Hi there, I hope someone can assist me.


I am using IntelliJ version 680, which was an early release. My colleague wrote some Live Templates and sent them to me. I copied them to the folder /config/templates but IntelliJ will not pick them up. Any idea as to why? Should I upgrade to a newer version of IntelliJ, although this is not advisable due to the fact we are in mid project right now.

Hi


If you are using Windows 2000, or Windows XP as your OS, you should copy the template file to following directory (D is my Windows installation partition):


D:Documents and SettingsUserName.IntelliJIdeaconfig emplates


I think that is why you can't work with it.
