I have seen links about cryptix and openPGP, but can't seem to find an example of a simple email. Basically, I want to send encrypted email from a servlet to clients that will have PGP on the PC client. Has anyone done this in Java 1.4?

I don't know if you can programmatically access PGP/GPG, except maybe by Runtime.exec on the command line tools? so prepare the document containing the body text, and run it through the encryptor, then take the output and use it for the message body text, or attach it as a part.

On the other side I don't know, maybe you'd have to save the body part, and then do the command line decryption to a new output file, and read that?
