When I try to shut down Tomcat using "shutdown.sh" in Linux it doesn't kill all of the Tomcat processes.

I have to manual kill another process to complete the shutdown.

I start Tomcat, and then attempt to shut it down as a test. When I execute "shutdown.sh" Tomcat doesn't respond to browser requests, but the Tomcat process are still there using "ps -ef | grep java".

Thanks for any help
