Aligning data in two separate tables

I have two tables one below the other..There is a gap between the two(approx a paragraph distance). How can I perfectly align the cells in the two tables manipulating ONLY the tr and td code in the two tables(meaning I dont want to use more tables to do this aligning)

Ok, i'm sure i don't need to type some HTML code here to explain it, i'm hoping that you know that already.


do the following and you'll be happy:-

1.design all of the page as one huge table.

2.whatever tables you want to align put them in the same "cell".


i don't know how familiar you are with swings, but if it helps, this way of designing a page is like using grid bag layout.
