How can i avoid the DOS window to appear while running Java program?

Assuming you're on Windows, there is an API where you can show and hide any active window. You could write a small program to show|hide that window directly (I can email you 2 executables for showing & hiding via batch) or you could try this freeware that sits in the system tray.
