I want to rebuild a class in the /opt/jakarta/classes path. This is not working.

I have got a x.java file which I build to x.class. Then I run my JSP page it works. But when I change the x.java file and rebuild it to x.class, the JSP page won't accept the new x.class, but it has been build. I wonder if I need to flush a cache or something, because the build works.

Even when I delete the x.class file, the JSP file still "thinks" it is available, and executes it.

Please help me with this.

I have also encountered such problems.

The ideal thing what we can do is to delete the compiled JSP servlet file which will be inside the 'work' folder. It makes the JSP to reload again, this time incorporating the changes done in your x.class file
