I'm using Websphere 4.0.4 and I'm getting the following exception from one of my classes, accessing my application through https: java.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: https

I already copy jcert.jar, jnet.jar and jsse.jar under WebsphereAppServerlibext and I have the following security providers to java.security file under WebsphereAppServerjavajrelibsecurity:
security.provider.1=sun.security.provider.Sun
security.provider.2=com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider
security.provider.3=com.sun.rsajca.Provider
security.provider.4=com.ibm.crypto.provider.IBMJCE
security.provider.5=com.ibm.jsse.JSSEProvider

I also have the following in my code

System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol");

java.security.Security.addProvider(new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider());

How can I avoid this exception?

Thanks.
