I am building a J2ME application in a Motorola i95/i58 phone. I have a few queries on this topic:

(i) I want to know whether there is any J2ME/Motorola package/api's to extract SIMCard information (e.g. CLI,Address book etc). If so, is the API SIMCard Manufacturer specific?

(ii) Somewhere i came across "simview class". Can anyone provide me some more information/documentation on this? Which package is it include in? Can it be used to serve my purpose?

I would appreciate it very much if anyone could provide me information on this?
