Hi, there I'm pretty new with IntelliJ, and I tried a very simple example with IntelliJ. I create a project (without white space in both path and file name), create a package named "test", create a class named "Test" under "test". A very simple "Hello, world.". I can compile it and run it. But I can not debug it with exact same configuration! When I launch the debugger, it told me "Could not found main class ...." It's exact same configuration with run enviroment. any idea? Thanks Noodle IntelliJ 3.02 on windows with JDK 1.3.1_07    More>>

Hi, there

I'm pretty new with IntelliJ, and I tried a very simple example with IntelliJ.

I create a project (without white space in both path and file name), create a package named "test", create a class named "Test" under "test". A very simple "Hello, world.".

I can compile it and run it. But I can not debug it with exact same configuration! When I launch the debugger, it told me "Could not found main class ...."

It's exact same configuration with run enviroment.

any idea?

Thanks

Noodle

Did you check the compiler option "generate Debug Info"???

Check your JDK version.

I think this problem is usally occured in JDK 1.3.1_07 or higher version because of it's not include of classic VM.

I cannot debug with JDK1.3.1_07, JDK1.4.1_XX too.

You have to use JDK1.3.1_06 or lower version for debug.
