I have declared xsl:varaible in one place,after that i want to assin a value accoriding to some codtion,but i don't know how to assing value to variable.

one way is we can assing value like this..


somthing like this..
but i want to assi value for above variable var in run time..

If you're using Java, then you can also use 

javax.xml.transform.Transformer.setParameter(name, val);

to do the same as Jan said.

You have to use parameters.

XSL stylesheet

  version="1.0"
  xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

DEFAULT-DATE

...
