How to reset an input type = "file"?

I've a couple of fields in a form but I would like to reset only the input type="file" if the user chooses not to proceed when a js confirm is prompted...


Is there a way to do this..?

You cannot change/set the value of the file input through javascript for security reasons. Probably you refresh the page if you really need to reset it!!!
