We have configured two swiftMQ routers on two different Linux machines connected to each other. We found that both the routers crashed at exactly the same time (very strange!!). On further investigation, we found that the system time on one of the machines was set back by an hour (by an external cron job) at exactly the same time when the routers crashed. Can anyone please shed some light on this issue. Also, I am very curious as to why this caused the router on the other box to crash too. Also, when this happened, we couldn't even restart the two routers. We had to delete the transaction.log file in order to start them up. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks Srinivas M.    More>>

Can you please post some more details on what you mean with "crashed"? Do you have a exception output? Anything in the router's error.log? Or has the JVM itself crashed?
