Is there a capability in log4j to group logs for the entire request. Lets say that the request goes to a servlet then worker bean then database bean. Each of the objects write entries to the log. Is there a way to link those logs together without passing a feference of ome sort around to each object?

Thx, - Rafal.

I think when you do the "Logger.getLogger(String name)", when you pass it in a name for the logger to get, you can just pass the same name, in several different places.
