How do I force a separate classloader for each applet?

My client wants to be able to run 2 different applets in 2 browser windows simultaneously. However: some static security manager function is not allowed to be called twice. If each applet would be loaded by a different classloader, this would not be a problem. In IE, if the second applet is run from a new browser proces, things run fine. In NN, there seems to be no way to get around the security manager restriction.

I am using NN 4.7, Java plug-in 1.3.1_0.1. (btw, the recycle classloader option of the plug-in seems to be ignored)

Java Plug-in 1.4.x use different classloaders if the applets have different CODEBASE attributes in the applet/object tag.
