I am creating an email application using JavaMail.

I need to send an email, that is scheduled for future

date (e.g) after 2 days . I use JSP as front-end to send

emails. How can I do scheduling in program.

For
example
:

Scheduling a future date while sending

ecards in web - Expecting the same logic in

Java.

Thanks

You will need to simulate an outbox concept (which is not built into javamail), you might wanna submit the form(for the mail) and save it onto a database table. You will also need to have a live application which will match the date in the database table 'outbox' and todays date. need to run that in the background to keep checking the date difference, and if the date matches, get the details from the database and submit them to a send mail bean.
Hope this helps.
