I was wondering whether you could tell me how to set up JB4 to work with Tomcat 4.0.4.

Tomcat 4.0.4 has no src directory to use as was stated in some of the other instructions for getting these tools to work together.

Sam, I think you might be able to find some configuration from Jbuilder website about how to hook up Tomcat with JBuilder. If you can't, you might try to add this config option in your tomcat.bat (Start/Stop Script for the TOMCAT Server), "set TOMCAT_OPTS=-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=5000 -Xdebug -Xnoagent".
Here you can change the address to other number you like, but remember to adjust to the same address in your project properties. More specifically, it's in project properties "debug" section, you need to "enable remote debugging", and leave the transport address to 5000 (or the number you specify in the tomcat_opts. After that, you should be able to debug the tomcat application through Jbuilder.
Hope it will help a little bit.
