I am writing a main.jsp (Traditional Chinese big5) which has to include another source code
global.jsp(UTF-8). My code is as below

<%@ page contentType="text/html; charset=big5" %>
<%@ include file="include/Global.jsp" %>

but it doesn't work. Is there any way to tell the JSP engine (in my case, JRun) the encoding of
the file to be included??

I know that getBytes() can solve the encoding problem. But is it possible to include a file by the getBytes() method? If yes, can anyone show me how??

Have you tried a "jsp:include" runtime tag, instead of the static "%@include"? I don't know, but maybe that might be more flexible for what you need?
