I wrote one SessionBean and deployed in WebSphere 5.0.

And I wrote a small TestClient for access the SessionBean

While execute the client in the command prompt I got an

Error like
" javax.naming.ConfigurationException: Name space
accessor for the java: name space has not been set.
Possible cause is that the user is specifying a
java: URL name in a JNDI Context method call but is not
running in a J2EE client or server environment."

So can you please tell me, what could be done to eliminate
this problem.
Thanks.

Whats the JNDI name of yr ejb?

If its "java:comp..XXXX", i beleive it wd be availabe only "in VM", meaning only to other components running "in the same server".

Try to publish/change to a global JNDI name:

say just "mybean" and try accessing that, from yr client.
