Hello,


I was wondering how would I go about disabling a button after the user submits the form. I don't want the user to be able to double submit.



I've tried doing:

onclick="form1.enter.disabled=true;"


but what ends up happening is that the form disables the button but doesn't submit the form. Can anybody help me with this.

Um, after a form is submitted, that page is gone, kaput, pfft.



Now, your servlet or JSP might return a new response, with a new copy of the same page, to start all over again in the browser. But the original copy of the page, that submitted the form, is gone.
