Is it right to let session ejbs receive CORBA notifications.

Since session bean may be passivated by the container, I want the ejbs to keep running in order to receive CORBA notifications. I will be grateful for your comments.

The answer is No, at least there is no portable way to do that. As far as I know, IONA's E2A contains a CORBA Notification/JMS bridge, you might want to take a look, I don't know too much about IONA's this feature though.
