our system is to send a message to a JMS queue, then two message driven beans each take a message from the queue then call javaMail API to send the email out to an email server. It works sometimes, but sometimes, there are about 20 messages stuck in the JMS queue. Usually JMS queue will not queue up messages unless the message driven beans are both not available. But the queueing up can last for a long time which doesn't make sense since the message driven beans can finish sending emails very quickly unless the javaMail API is holding the beans. So there must be something wrong with the javaMail API that sometimes hangs. Is there any possible way to remove or detect the hanging?
Thank you very much.
