PS: Tomcat is a servlet engine that can handle requests, requesting servlets and JSP files. http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/ is where you can download tomcat and find documentation on how to instal and run it.

That's quite a bit your asking for. Sounds like a school project, right? Some liks to tutorials:

JSP intro:

JAVA:

http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/

Servlets (the JAVA classes that can handle http requests):

As for XML, one search in google will give you lodes of tutorials.

One simple example is not going to give you a full understanding of these subjects though. All three are extensive and require some sweat blood and tears before matered :-)

Cheers,

Joost
