Hello,
In my research theme, I am trying to match two UML class diagrams. For that purpose, I think is better to transform a UML class diagram to XML so the matching will be easy and efficient.
How can I export the UML class diagram to an XMI model.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think a hint what tool you are using for creating UML. If you are using Rational Rose there is a tool "Unisys XMI Export" on Rationals site which exports the whole model to XMI.
