Hi zhebin,
You should refer to the Axis-Page, where the difference between Axis and Apache SOAP is explained.
Basically: Axis is something like Apache SOAP 3.0. It has much more features is faster, but also has just little good documentation at the moment. So its kinda hard to get through. The newest book I know (and which is mentioned on the Axis Page) is based on Beta3. So not even on the first 1.0 Release.
But if Axis is better or SOAP, you have to decide for yourself, after reading the descriptions
