Hi All, I have the following JNI problem. I have a C++ executable which embeds a Java application. I want to know is there a way to start the embedded jvm with remote debugging option. When I tried to start the jvm with the following options options[nNext++].optionString = "-Xdebug"; options[nNext++].optionString = "-Xnoagent"; options[nNext++].optionString="-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8787"; then JNI_CreateJavaVM(&m_pJVM, (void**)&m_pJNIenv, &vm_args); crashes with Access Violation... Hi All,

I have the following JNI problem.
I have a C++ executable which embeds a Java application.
I want to know is there a way to start the embedded jvm
with remote debugging option.
When I tried to start the jvm with the following options

options[nNext++].optionString = "-Xdebug";
options[nNext++].optionString = "-Xnoagent";
options[nNext++].optionString="-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8787";

then

JNI_CreateJavaVM(&m_pJVM, (void**)&m_pJNIenv, &vm_args);

crashes with Access Violation...
I am using MS VC++6 for debugging the C++ executable.
The jdk is version 1.4
