Can Log4j be used for multiple remote java applications to log to the one log file?


I have had a look at org.apache.log4j.net, but SocketNode and SocketServer seem to be for only one remote client, not multiple clients. What could be used for multiple remote clients to log to the one log file?

JMSAppender? But I think SocketAppender should work. The Appender asks the Server at a special port for a connection and gets a port. So multiple apps should be possible. I haven´t tried it.
