I have tried to create a MDB using XDoclet 1.2 beta 2. Here is the XDoclet header: * @ejb:bean name="datatrack/AsyncMessage" * display-name="Message Driven Test Bean" * transaction-type="Container" * acknowledge-mode="Auto-acknowledge" * destination-type="javax.jms.Queue" * subscription-durability="Durable" * * @jboss:destination-jndi-name name="queue/asyncMessageHandlerQueue" I have put the source for this bean in a directory where I am creating session beans. I have tried to create a MDB using XDoclet 1.2 beta 2. Here is the XDoclet header:

I have put the source for this bean in a directory where I am creating session beans. When running ant, the output does not show it building this MDB. In fact, nothing shows and nothing appears in the generated source directory. Is there some kind of special task, or task config, that has to be added to the ejbdoclet task in build.xml?

Thanks.

be sure to have ejbspec 2.0 defined in the task e.g.

destdir="${src.gen}"
classpathref="xdoclet.class.path"
ejbspec="2.0"

if ejbspec is not "2.0" no MDBs will be generated because MDBs aren't part of EJB 1.1

hope this helps...

cheers,

Jari
