I had already tested my application for a PDA (POCKET PC) for windows
environment with Pocket IE.

I am attaching my code for you to have an idea what exactly I wanted.

String userAgentInfo = request.getHeader("USER-AGENT");
String userOsInfo = request.getHeader("UA-OS");

if ( ((userAgentInfo != null) && (userAgentInfo.indexOf("Windows
CE")==-1)) || ((userOsInfo!= null) && (userOsInfo.indexOf("POCKET
PC")== -1)))
{}

The above code is for Pocket Pc with windows environment. So please
tell me what I have to specify for linux with opera browser for sharp
zaurus.

Thanks and Regards,
Manikandan

Opera lets the user set what browser it identifies itself as, in the User-Agent string. It can say it is IE, or Mozilla, of various version numbers, or it can say it is Opera. A lot of broken Web pages only work if the browser id's itself as Mozilla or IE, that's why Opera lets you set the User-Agent string yourself.
