Hi

We are using Oracle 8i (8.1.7) on a Windows 2000 server. JVM has been successfully loaded, and we have Java Stored Procedures that are working fine.

When trying to connect to a LDAP server from a Java Stored Procedure, using JNDI, we get the following error:

javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Cannot instantiate
class:com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory [Root exception is
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com/sun/jndi/ldap/LdapCtxFactory]

We have tried to load the entire j2ee.jar, but the load never went through completely. We have tried to isolate those classes required for LDAP from j2ee.jar (the entire javax.naming package), and manually loaded them, still without success.

Our class that calls LDAP is running fine on Tomcat 3.2.2 environment (on Windows 2000 server). The issue really is using this class as an Oracle Java stored procedure.

Any help in this regards will be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Vamsee, Yoram
