i have a dsl/networking question....don't know if you can help. I have a speedstream 5360 (ameritech) dsl modem and a linksys router. the system collapsed last week due to old-buggy firmware for the modem.

i downloaded the new version from a windows forum site, but it doesn't open (it's an .exe file) and i have had no luck finding a mac version. the file's BEFSR81 or BEFSR41.... it's version 2.43.

if ANYONE has had similar problems or has this file for mac....please let me know. im desperate here..........
