Hi,
I've been trying to figure out how to network too machines. I thought i'd just get two ethernet cards and a long length of Cat5 cross over cable and wire it into two wall mounted boxes. However someone told me you don't need to use loads of cross over cable to do this aslong as you cross it over somewhere along the line.
So if I had a small piece of cross over cable coming from one computer into a wall mounted box connected to about 8 meters of straight cable would that work? Because cross over cable is arround twice the price.
Any help on this would be great, thanks
