how to start Tomcat by exec startup.bat

I want to start my Tomcat service by add exec task to
my build.xml .In exec task ,I try to let cmd.exe to run
the startup.bat in the %tomcat_home%/bin dirctory. And
it run,but my ant keep runing,which could't finish its
task.So the question is how to correctly boot my tomcat while finishing its task

In my MDA-project an ant script is generated which does that job. But the MDA-provider gave me an extra-Task for doing that: . It seems that it creates a new process so that ant can quit while tomcat keeps running. So have you tried the -Task? I donĀ“t know whether it will work ...
