Hello
I want to run a jar file without creating an auxiliary file
which updates the manifest file.
Is there any way to do this.

ant allows you to make entries in your jar's manifest without having to have an auxiliary file...

The wording of your question is a bit odd... are you saying that you are running a program in a jar file, but you don't want an external manifest? I've never heard of having an external manifest needed for executing the program within a jar file!

Nope. You have to either create a JAR file and update the manifest with another file, or create the JAR file with a manifest file already created.
