Hello all,

I am trying to send an email by Javamail. The body of the email is retrieved from a text file. The text file is a Big5 file, and it contains HK characters. So I have tried to retrieve the text file by big5 encoding and send the email by big5 encoding, the HK character in the email becomes "?". and I tried to use big5_hkscs encoding and this time, monster word happens. Any solution for this?

I am using Jdk1.4.1 and Tomcat 3.3.1 here because it is a JSP/javabean application. Thanks.

Sending non-English messages has already been asked and answered. Keep in mind you can't use System.out.println to see the contents of 16-bit characters.
