I am using rpm edition of MySQL, which come with Redhat 8. i want to upgrade it to MySQL-Max. But the latest MySQL-Max rpm version number is greater than my MySQL version number. i can't install the MySQL-Max rpm properly.
I have try to uninstall the MySQL and install the new version by rpm packages. But something does not exist. The rpm usually report to me that some packages does not installed yet. Even I have download all rpm files from MySQL web site. But still not enough.
What is the correct way to upgrade my MySQL? And what is the correct way to upgrade my MySQL to MySQL-Max?
