Hi,

I am reading the javascript alerts from a properties file.
it is displayed based on the langauage. However if my selected language is hindi , instead of the unicode characters, i get "black blocks" in my alert.
If somebody has encounterd this problem earlier and solved it...please help

I guess you cannot format the text in an javascript alert or confirm message boxes. Instead you can thing of using cusomized dialogs using window.showModalDialog or window.open. See this thread (click here) for customized message boxes (confirm message box in this case.) You could create one component on similar lines so that it accepts the message as well as the font as parameters.
