I delivered my solution with the next structure:



/src -- all the sources

   /data -- the data packages

   /server -- the server classes

   /client -- the client application classes

/doc

   /api -- api docs

   /manual -- the little manual you have to write

/build -- the class files

   /data -- the data packages

   /server -- the server classes

   /client -- the client application classes

README.TXT -- the obligatory README file



I think this is a simple but clear structure -- and I passed :)
